Motorised window treatment specialist QMotion UK, has introduced Blind Pocket, a nifty concealment system that allows integrators to provide customers with an affordable, yet aesthetically attractive way of hiding roller blind mechanisms, thereby ensuring only the fabric is visible when the blind is lowered.

The QMotion Blind Pocket comprises an extruded aluminium box designed to fit roller blinds up to 4000 mm wide, that fits neatly within the ceiling space. This saves integrators from having to construct a custom pocket.

Once the pre-built pocket is installed, the motorised roller blind mechanism can be easily fitted and then a standard Closure piece attached directly into the groove on the Blind Pocket to cover the bottom of the blind. There’s also the option of a plaster-ready Ceiling Lip that can be installed to bring about a flush fit with ceiling tiles.

There's also a two-part pocket closure system, comprising a Closure Hanger and Closure Plate, if there’s a requirement to conceal the lower front of a pocket installation.

Available in a standard white finish, the Blind Pocket can also be supplied in any RAL classic colour to suit the interior finish. Ultra-quiet Cat6 wired motors provide control and power, and are supplied with a 20-year limited lifetime warranty, as standard.

“Homeowners, interior designers and property developers want the benefits of automated blinds but care about seeing and hearing as little of the technology as possible,” said Chris Janes, QMotion UK Business Development Manager. “Blind Pocket delivers a very competitively priced, easy to install option for integrators, allowing them to hide the roller blind mechanism within the ceiling. When you combine these advantages with the renowned whisper-quiet operation of our blinds, then choosing QMotion becomes a powerful win-win for all parties.”
