Optoma has added two more models to its DuraCore laser ProScene projector range, the ZU820T and ZU725T. These mid-range professional installation models are positioned below the ZU920TST projectors, and offer 8800 lumens and 7800 lumens respectively. Contrast is rated at 3,000,000:1.
Typical applications include entertainment, immersive installations, digital signage and projection mapping. Resolution is WUXGA (1920 x 1200), but they are classified as 4k HDR compatible.
Both models feature dust-resistant IP5X certified optical engines for 24/7 operation, said to offer maintenance-free projection for up to 30,000 hours in Eco mode.
Their feature set includes fully motorised zoom, focus, and lens shift, coupled with built-in edge blending, warping, four-corner correction, and horizontal and vertical keystone correction. The throw ratio is 1.25-2.1.
Connectivity comprises two HDMI inputs, with one output; HDBaseT, VGA and 3D Sync in and out. Control includes a12V trigger, LAN, and RS-232. Both models have a 2x10W audio system.
The projectors support the Optoma Management Suite (OMS), which offers IT administrators and technicians a real time remote platform to monitor, manage, and diagnose multiple displays simultaneously. Technicians can check the status and optimise performance of the projectors, as well as broadcast emergency messages, alerts, or announcements across on-site displays.
Simon Jonas, commercial category manager at Optoma, said: “Improving upon the ZU720T, the addition of the ZU725T and the ZU820T to our ProScene family fills a gap in the market for mid-range WUXGA projectors that provide remarkable flexibility at an affordable price.”
