Wyrestorm has previewed a new HDBaseT Presentation Switcher at ISE, and expanded its HD BaseT Pro Plus and modular matrix range. The incoming PS-0901-0101 integrates HDBaseT technology with HDMI-to-HDMI switching, and offers a raft of I/O flexibility, with nine mixed format inputs including HDMI, HDBaseT, Display Port, composite, component and VGA, along with upscaling, downscaling and auto scaling capabilities. It can be used as a standalone presentation aid or within part of a broader Wyrestorm distribution and control ecosystem. It's fully compatible with the brand's new browser-based Enado UI. The product is expected to begin shipping Q2 2014.
The new matrix switchers taking their ISE bow are the fixed Pro Plus MX-0808-PP-POH (available as an 8x8 or 16x16 design), and modular MX-0808-PP-POH-CUSTOM with Power over HDBaseT (pictured above). The modular model has completely customisable design, and will be available in 8x8 and 16x16 configurations. The spec supports HD video and audio, RS-232 and IR and low voltage power via a single Cat5e/6 cable. Integrators can configure the unit using an online web widget. Starting with a clean, eight module compact chassis installers then select from analogue and digital transmission cards, dragging and dropping them into the template.
