At ISE, URC Total Control announced driver integration for the popular NEST Smart thermostat. Jeroen van der Velden, technical support & product manager for BMB Electronics B.V, explained to the Inside TV team how the new URC Nest module allows URC users to interact directly with their central heating. “When you turn on the heating it displays on the URC control panel as well. It’s instant” he said. “The driver module is compatible with URC 2,000, 780 and 1080 displays and it’s on Android and iOS. You can also add multiple accounts.” Van der Velden also confirmed that the URC SONOS module was imminent – “we expect it to be finished at the end of the month.”
