Video: Just Add Power HD over IP transmitter/receiver combo promise to simplify audio distribution at ISE 2015

At ISE 2015, the Inside TV team got an early look at Just Add Power’s new HD over IP solutions, with HD Connectivity’s Dee McKeown. The brand’s 2g+ AV Pro transmitter is able to downmix 5.1 streams to offer stereo and matrixed multi-channel as required. “The big feature is that they deliver by Cat cable both 5.1 and two channel simultaneously,” explains McKeown. “They convert audio into Dolby Pro-Logic II format, so every 5.1 zone understands it as multi-channel and every two channel zone instantly understands it as two channel. There’s no fiddling with EDID settings and no other signal management needed.” The new models can be used with any 2g/2g+ receiver, adds McKeown.
