Tannoy is making residential loudspeakers the centre of its ISE stand for the first time, with models for home install, home theatre and 2-channel applications. "From high-performance on-walls and the brand new contemporary Precision series through to the stunning flagship Kingdom Royal in a customised concept finish, there will be an eye-watering display of Scotland's finest," promises the brand.
ISE marks the European launch of the Definition DC10A. This premium hand-built floorstander features a single point source Alnico Dual Concentric driver utilizing Alcomax 3 Alnico magnets and the latest iteration of Tannoy's aluminium alloy tweeter with PepperPot WaveGuide, straight path fully Deep Cryogenically Treated crossover and Tannoy's signature birch-ply construction cabinet, constructed from specially selected slow-growing birch trees. The brand says the result is a combination its flagship Prestige models with the contemporary style of the Definition series. The DC10A is available in gloss black, cherry or dark walnut.
The company is also introducing new products in the pro, install and commercial sectors. There's also a chance to see the brand's flagship Kingdom Royal in a customised concept finish, a stunning example of carbon fibre engineering for those with a budget in the region of £75,000.
Tannoy can be found in hall/stand 5-R2 at ISE. For the latest on ISE 2013, and your free invitation code to the event, click here.
