RGB Communications signs Nest distribution deal, offers Nest Pro training and Reward Points

RGB Communications is now distributing Nest products, after signing up the smart home technology company. The agreement will see RGB offer professional installers both the Nest product range, and in-depth training. The first Nest Pro course takes place February 19 at the RGB offices, located in Hungerford. RGB’s Chief Technology Officer David Webster and Nest’s EU Pro trainer team will be curating the event.

Sales director Andy Atwell believes the Nest thermostat and smoke and CO alarm complement similar residential products, like Lutron lighting and Savant Smart home tech. “Luxury, lifestyle and convenience of the connected home are no longer just the domain of the rich and famous. We share Nest's vision of bringing technology to the broader market and our new partnership presents an excellent opportunity for our customers to expand their offering into the mid-market.”

RGB will offer the 1080p Nest Cam, Nest protect smoke and carbon monoxide alarm, and the 3rd generation of the Nest thermostat. This latest iteration features a larger display, and hot water control.
