Control 4

I simply love money-making apps and this one, which came to my attention from Extra Vegetables, is no exception. With Creston and AMX being the dominant commercial choice for board rooms and training rooms, this little app will help you specify Control 4 and make a simple interface look swish and professional. The module produces a professional looking skin that allows you to drop your corporate logo onto the bottom left corner with hundreds of icons, and with the ability to style the buttons it has great flexibility. There are three groups of buttons. For each button you can decide whether the button is visible, the colour of the button, the icon displayed and the text for the button. Additionally you can provide four lines of instructions to the user in the centre of the screen. Once the screen design is configured, you can easily add programming to the press and release events for each button. Each room will be individually programmed with a different layout, and with great support from the Extra Vegetables tech team this app, in my eyes, is a great addition to the already growing portfolio of C4 modules on its website.

Key features explained:

  • Provides 24 buttons in three groups.
  • For each button choose if it is visible and what colour it is.
  • Choose an icon from over 160 built into the App - or use your own.
  • Display a corporate logo or photograph on the screen.
  • Four lines of text available. Use these for instructions and or dynamically update them with messages or now playing information.
  • Can have buttons with No logo and more text, logo only, or just blank.
  • Millions of combinations and uses in Control4 systems.

Supports on-screen display, 10" touch screens, 7" touch screens
Requires dealer installation and can only be purchased on a device.
