NuVo debuts three-zone P3500 wireless music player

NuVo Technologies has introduced a new high-power, rack-mounted three-zone audio player for its IP-based multi-room music system. The incoming P3500 Player can handle up to three different streaming sources independently in three zones, delivering up to 200 watts of power per zone.  It can be used alone, in conjunction with NuVo's P3100, or in a system with NuVo's single-zone wireless players.

The NuVo Player Portfolio (pictured above) is an IP-based audio system designed specifically for custom installers. It comprises a variety of interchangeable wireless and wired player options, suitable for large whole home audio with up to 16 separate zones or individual rooms. The system can be used with a wide variety of sources, both streamed or networked, using any Apple or Android device as the controller. NuVo and third-party manufacturers provide software drivers for easy system integration with larger home control or home automation systems.

"The new player makes it easier for installers to satisfy a wider variety of needs and still give their customers all the convenience and flexibility of an all-in-one, amplifier-plus-source solution," says Rick Kukulies, VP of Technology.   "We've designed our system to handle the highest resolution audio sources of any multi-zone Wi-Fi-capable system..."
