Yaber, the disruptive new home entertainment projector maker, has introduced a compact ultra-short throw laser projector, the K300s, and a short throw budget alternative, the L2 Plus, at CES 2025.

The K300s caters to those seeking a bigscreen experience in compact spaces, while the L2 Plus offers an affordable solution for everyday home entertainment.

Leveraging ultra-short throw technology to project a 100-inch image from just 24.8 cm, the K300s, can effectively turn any space into a media room. It utilises a Triple RGB Laser light engine, with 1000 ANSI lumens of brightness and a native resolution of 1080p. Contrast ratio is 1500:1. Imagery is enhanced by proprietary NovaGlow technology, for even brightness across the screen.

Connectivity includes HDMI ARC, Ethernet, two USBs and headphone minijack. The UST model has dual 15W JBL speakers built in, making it a convenient all-in-one proposition.

Ease of use is high. The projector features instant autofocus and smart keystone correction for hassle-free setup, as well as manual adjustments for fine-tuning display size. Boasting 50 per cent greater energy efficiency than traditional LED projectors, the K300s is a sustainable choice for instant home cinema.

The K300s is priced at $999.99, and is available for pre-order on the Yaber official website.

Joining the K300s on the Yaber launch pad is a budget-friendly alternative, the Yaber L2 Plus. This portable beamer has a 1.35:1 throw ratio, which affords a good deal of versatility. It's also a 1080p model, albeit with 700 ANSI lumens brightness. Audio comes from integrated 8W JBL stereo speakers.

Design touches include hands-free autofocus and intelligent screen alignment for simple setup. Operating noise is said to be below 35dB. Priced at $199, the L2 Plus will start shipping in Q2 2025.
