Projection specialist Xgimi has announced a strategic expansion into the commercial AV sector, unveiling Titan, its first professional-grade projector. Designed for boardrooms, event venues, and high-spec home theatres, the new unit will be formally introduced at IFA 2025 in Berlin this September.
The move represents a notable pivot for Xgimi, a brand best known for its success in the consumer space, where it has earned a reputation for compact, all-in-one projectors that combine streamlined functionality with competitive image performance. The launch of Titan marks its first entry into the commercial channel, signalling an ambition to broaden its footprint beyond living rooms and portable entertainment.
Titan is the first in a planned series of commercial-grade solutions from the company. According to Apollo Zhong, Chairman of Xgimi , the product was developed in response to what the company perceives as a growing disconnect between professional user needs and current market offerings.
“We’ve spent years refining projection for everyday users,” Zhong explained. “Now we’re applying that same design-first philosophy to professionals. People designing immersive spaces, leading presentations, or delivering event experiences. The market hasn’t kept pace with their needs.”
Xgimi says Titan aims to address this gap by delivering pro-level visual performance without the complexity or high cost typically associated with commercial-grade systems. Details remain limited ahead of the IFA reveal, but the company’s approach appears to prioritise flexibility, ease of use, and visual fidelity, echoing its design principles from the consumer range.
While full specifications are expected at IFA, Titan is described as the brand’s flagship pro projector, and early messaging positions it as a “category-defining” product. It is expected to showcase a new design language for the brand’s professional lineup and will be part of a larger ecosystem that continues to evolve beyond the home.
Titan will be unveiled at the ShowStoppers press event on September 4, before being demonstrated publicly on the show floor at IFA from September 5–9.
Xgimi's entry into commercial projection introduces a new player into a space historically dominated by legacy brands. While the company’s heritage lies in the consumer sector, its rapid growth and partnerships with key component providers (including Google, Harman Kardon, and Texas Instruments) suggest it may have the technological and supply chain resources to compete in professional environments.
For integrators and AV specifiers, Titan's positioning as a high-performance yet accessible solution could offer new opportunities, particularly in design-led installations where traditional commercial models may be cost-prohibitive or overly complex for the use case.
More details are expected in early September at IFA 2025. Inside CI will report live from the show with hands-on insights and technical breakdowns.
