Projection specialist Xgimi has launched a new smart portable projector range, the MoGo 2 series, featuring the MoGo 2 Pro and MoGo 2. The MoGo 2 Pro is a 1080p model, the MoGo 2 720p.
An upgrade on the brand's original Xgimi MoGo projectors, the new models promise a significant improvement in screen brightness, screen clarity and speaker performance. The MoGo 2 Pro also introduces Intelligent Screen Adaption 2.0, an enhanced auto setup suite.
The MoGo 2 Series employs a proprietary light engine, with high-transmission coated lenses designed to reduce light loss in the projection light path. Brightness is quoted at 400 ISO lumens.
Audio comes via two 8W drive units, which creates a wide soundstage. A transparent bass diaphragm window on the back allows users to see the diaphragm structure and sound movement inside the speaker. There are four audio presets; Movie, Sports, Music, and News.
The first Xgimi to boast the brand’s proprietary ISA 2.0 technology, the MoGo 2 Pro features automatic keystone correction and autofocus. After adjusting the projector's position, ISA 2.0 manages multi-angle automatic keystone correction and focus adjustment without any user input, for both horizontal and vertical alignment.
Intelligent eye protection automatically dims the MoGo2 when the sensor detects people or pets passing in front of the projector.
The 720p MoGo projector features the standard implementation of Intelligent Screen Adaption (ISA), which simplifies the setup process. Functions include Intelligent Screen Alignment, which automatically aligns the projected image to the edge of the screen; Intelligent Obstacle Avoidance which intelligently avoids obstacles during correction, autofocus, and Automatic Keystone Correction.
Both portables run the Android 11 OS smart platform, which supports a huge number of premium streaming services. Also new to the MoGo 2 series is the ability to run off a power bank.
The MoGo 2 Pro sells for £529 and the MoGo 2 retails for £359.
