Vestel Visual Solutions has launched versatile new digital signage screens in three large format screen sizes.

The XN+ and XD+ Series UHD signage displays offer 500nit and 400nit brightness respectively, and are built around the Vestel Android Platform 400 SoC, simplifying content management and CMS deployment.

Available to resellers and integrators now, the models come in 75-, 86- and 98-inch screen sizes.

Designed for 24/7 use in retail, entertainment, or control rooms, the XN+ Series uses an IPS panel boasting a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and a 178-degree viewing angle, ideal for audience engagement across the largest commercial spaces.

The XD+ Series includes all the features of the XN+ units, in a more affordable package for installations that do not require super-high brightness or constant 24-hour operation.

Applications might include corporate venues, public and entertainment venues, and control rooms. The XD+ Series offers 400 nits brightness and 16/7 operation in corresponding UHD resolution large screen sizes.

“With digital signage becoming pervasive in retail and leisure, grabbing audience attention means cutting through the visual noise,” says Senior Product Manager Tim Mathews.

“With the new XN+ and XD+ models, we have brought our proven high-brightness, UHD resolution display technology to super-sized screens that make the biggest impact in any commercial environment. Thanks to the economies of scale at our advanced European manufacturing facility, these new models set a benchmark for large screen value and performance.”

The new model’s SoC supports Android and HTML-5 systems for CMS providers and integrators to seamlessly manage content, removing the need for an OPS module and external CMS engine.

Connectivity comprises one HDMI output, four HDMI inputs with CEC, Lan, Wi-Fi and multiple USB sockets for additional hardware sources or cloud content. There’s also an SD slot for additional onboard storage, as well as an optical digital audio output.

Features include a Signal Failover to create a default banner or logo in case of lost source, daisy-chain compatibility, and easy VESA mounting, to make installation as simple and flexible.

While super-screen sized displays were cost prohibitive for many installations in the past, the affordable XN+ and XD+ Series open big screen display solutions to an ever-broader customer base,” adds Tim Matthews. “These new screens give our resellers and installers a unique, affordable large screen display solution, backed by Vestel’s reliability and customer service.”
