The Nuki smart lock, from UK home security specialist Ultion, can now be integrated into a Control4 whole-home automation systems, following the release of a dedicated driver.
This makes it the first door-locking solution for Control4 projects that is specifically designed for UK doors, offering installers a new security option from the British lock experts.
The development of the new driver allows installers to seamlessly operate connected Ultion Nuki locks from a Control4 touchscreens, remote control, or app.
Control4 support is the latest upgrade for the Ultion Nuki, which is already compatible with Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Ring, IFTTT, and integration with the Airbnb app. For peace of mind, it also works with a traditional key.
Ultion Nuki, as well as all Ultion locks, can also be used with the Ultion KeyTag - an official Made for iPhone door key that can be located using Apple's Find My network.
The Control4 driver works with all current and forthcoming Ultion Nuki iterations and accessories, including the Nuki Keypad, wirelessly connecting to a Control4 processor; no special cabling is required.
Additionally, the forthcoming Ultion Nuki Plus will allow for Control 4 installations without the need for a bridge. The new driver can be downloaded from DriverCentral priced at USD $15.
