TCL is moving into the lifestyle TV space, currently dominated by Samsung’s The Frame, with its new NXTVision TV (A300W-UK) series. The line combines contemporary industrial design with advanced matte display technology.
TCL’s slimmest screen to date, just 27.9mm deep, it’s designed to sit flush against the wall; there’s no external function box to accomodate. When not in use as a conventional TV, the idea is that it can serve as a digital canvas, presenting artwork gallery style, or personal photography.
The NXTVision range is built around TCL’s 4K QLED panel technology, edge lit with wide colour gamut support. It offers refresh rates of 120Hz and 144Hz, along with MEMC motion processing for smooth playback. Gaming is supported with Auto Game Mode, AMD FreeSync Premium, and Game Accelerator 240Hz, aimed at delivering low-latency, responsive performance.
Audio support includes Dolby Atmos, DTS, and DTS Virtual:X, with Enhanced Dialogue Mode to ensure clarity for speech-heavy content.
Interestingly, as part of its sustainability programme, TCL has produced the remote control for NXTVision using recycled tea-based materials. The initiative is designed to reduce environmental impact while aligning with consumer expectations for responsible product design.
The TCL NXTVision A300W series is availablein three screen sizes, all with Google TV functionality. The 55-inch NXTVision (55A300W-UK), 65-inch NXTVision (65A300W-UK) and 75-inch NXTVision (75A300W-UK), retail for £949, £1,199 and £1,799 respectively.
