TCL is the latest TV brand to release a 4k QLED TV built around Amazon’s Fire OS. The CF630K is available in 50- and 55-inch screen sizes, and the pair retail for £339 and £389 respectively.
The models boast a metallic frameless design, and support both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and Dolby Atmos audio. They also offer a Game Master mode with ALLM.
Like other Fire TV OS screens we’ve seen, there’s full Amazon Alexa interactivity via a voice remote and an interface that mimics that from a Fire TV streaming stick. The sets also have a Freeview Play tuner, with roll-back programme guide and extensive range of free-to-view boxsets.
“We are more than excited to launch our first TCL Fire TV series, which delivers a broad selection of high-quality content that provides a superb viewing experience for our customers,” said Frédéric Langin, Vice-President for Sales and Marketing at TCL Europe. “This strategic implementation of the Fire TV experience, starting in Germany, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom, and this new line up of 4K QLED smart TVs, illustrates our continued efforts to meet our consumer needs by offering premium display technologies and products, and a complete smart TV experience at a great value”.
The 50CF630K and 55CF630K models, also available in Germany, Spain and Italy, at www.amazon.co.uk/tclfiretv.
