TCL has launched its first 4k QLED TVs built around the Roku smart platform into the UK market. The new RC630K series is available in screen sizes that range from 43- to 65-inches, and feature a slimline brushed metal bezel.
The sets are compatible with Airplay 2 and voice assistants, including Apple Siri, Alexa, and Google Assistant, andoffer automatic updates, have a customisable home screen, and a sophisticated universal search function.
The Roku smart platform supports all key streaming platform, including Netflix, Disney+ and BBC iPlayer, as well as music services like Spotify and Apple Music. There’s also the Roku Channel, a free-to-view entertainment service including a variety of exclusive movies and TV shows, including Roku Original Weird: The Al Yankovic Story.
HDR support covers Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG.
Sharing Xiao, TCL’s U.K. Country Manager said: “At TCL, we are dedicated to raising the bar and designing innovative products that deliver beyond our customers’ expectations. Our newly launched series, paired with Roku’s operating system, has a host of advanced features that will elevate home theatres across the country and provide the best that entertainment tech has to offer.”
The range is available online from Curry’s, and builds on released previous Roku 40RS520K and 43RP620K models last year. The models are available in 43-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch screen sizes, priced at £320, £370, £420 and £700 respectively
