If you’re looking for a low cost, large screen 4k smart TV, TCL has your back. The brand has launched two new ranges, the 4k HDR P638K series and QLED 4k Ultra HD C645K, each led by low cost 75-inch models.
The C645K series, which utilise QLED panels, is available in 43-, 50-, 55-, 65-, and 75-inch screen sizes, priced at £329, £359, £429, £579 and £949 respectively. The LED LCD P638K series, with the same panel size options, is priced at £269, £319, £349, £439, and £749.
TCL rates peak brightness of its C645K QLED models at 450 nits, aided by both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ dynamic tone mapping.
The brand hopes to attract gamers to the models, with the inclusion of AMD FreeSync technology, Dual Line Gate technology (DLG) for improved motion resolution, and ‘120Hz Game Accelerator.’
There’s also a built-in Dolby Atmos decoder. The onboard sound system is 2 x 10 W stereo.
The sets run the Android TV platform with built-in Google Assistant. A Freeview Play tuner, with integrated catch-up services from iPlayer, All4, ITVX, and My5. The cheaper P638K line employ HDR10 60Hz panels, presented in a ‘bezel less’ design.
Both the TCL C645K Series and P638K models are available now from Argos online.
