Danish audio specialist Tangent has released a new compact TV audio amplifier, and matching Hi-Fi preamplifier DAC.
Suitable for media room duties, the DAC II and TV II are designed specifically for music or movie fans who want to improve their streaming, CD or TV listening experience. The compact DAC II can also be used as a dedicated headphone amplifier.
Designed to upgrade a traditional amplifier, ther compact DAC II preamplifier features multiple digital inputs of coaxial, two optical digital audio inputs, and USB. There are also both RCA phono and XLR balanced outputs, making it a suitable partner to Tangent's PowerAmpster II, or other power amplifiers.
Wireless connectivity comes via AptX Bluetooth. The Tangent DAC II employs a Sabre ES9023 24-bit Stereo Audio DAC.
The Tangent Ampster TV II is a TV centric amplifier with HDMI input, and Bluetooth 5.0 HD support.
Power output is rated at 2 x 50W. Integrators can partner it with any stereo passive speaker set-up, for an instant sonic upgrade.
Available now from Tangent retailers, the Tangent Ampster TV II is priced £199.99, while the Tangent DAC II sells for £249.99.
