Security specialist Swann is rolling out SwannShield, a free AI-powered home security Voice Assistant compatible with the brand's SwannBuddy4K Video Doorbell. SwannShield is able to engage with visitors in real-time, and can differentiate friends from package deliveries.
SwannShield uses adaptive generative AI technology to respond with natural, human-like interactions when visitors press the doorbell.
When activated, the smart AI Voice Assistant doorbell will converse, using a British accent. No of the messages are pre-recorded, rather the responses are dynamic, able to react to the specific situation.
SwannShield can also be personalised via the settings in the app. Users can set night modes, recognise the names of residents, and provide instructions for where deliveries should be placed. Responses can vary between polite, disinterested or aggressive, depending on the nature of the visitor detected.
Users can also access transcripts of every conversation in app, to see if there are any security irregularities or concerns.
"Through thoughtful design and careful consideration of user feedback, we are delivering an AI-driven Voice Assistant that seamlessly integrates into users' lives while providing enhanced protection and peace of mind,” says Alex Talevski, CEO of Swann. “Representing an exciting step forward in the democratisation of AI for everyday consumers, the SwannShield Voice Assistant sets a new benchmark for intelligent home protection and reflects our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.”
SwannShield is available free of charge within the Swann Security app, and can be used in conjunction with the SwannBuddy4K video doorbell via an over the air (OTA) download of the latest firmware.
The SwannBuddy4K Video Doorbell supports free recording of clips to local memory or the cloud
