Squid brings together both AC and DC outlets, with SurgeX’s Multi-Stage surge protection, power conditioning, power management and analytical software in a single chassis, compact form factor.
Providing a versatile power foundation, Squid is said to be easy to install and significantly optimises reliability and performance on home cinema and whole house technology projects.

It’s fully compliant with leading network security protocols including 802.1x authentication and active directory.
Also at EI Live, SurgeX has thrown a spotlight on its Defender Series, a cost-effective mains protection and conditioning range designed to reduce equipment downtime in the event of a power surge and protect equipment functionality; SurgeX Remote Turn-On, an Advanced Series Mode surge elimination technology to protect sensitive equipment and a Standalone Battery Backup which can deliver clean continuous power, via online double conversion technology, to ensure the safe shutdown of equipment in the event of a power outage.
