British Hi-Fi outfit Cyrus Audio is turning the page to a new chapter with the launch of the 40 Series. Made in Britain from anodized aluminium, with custom-designed components, the lineup focuses on four core models, each design to integrate seamlessly into modern homes, while promising an elevated audio experience.

The 40 Series comprises four key components: the 40 AMP, an integrated amplifier; the 40 CD, an advanced CD player; the 40 ST, a high-performance network streamer; and the 40 PSU, an external power supply.

The 40 AMP offers 100 watts per channel (into 6 ohms) and features a stylised aluminium chassis with a 5-inch hi-resolution full-colour TFT display. HDMI eARC input will allow the 40 AMP to function as a home entertainment hub, while a low-noise MM phono stage borrows elements from the brand’s Classic PHONO. Its DAC is powered by the latest ESS ES9039Q2M chipset.

The 40 ST streaming Music Player is built on the BluOS streaming platform. It’s capable of high-resolution music up to 24-bit/192kHz, with minimal network lag. Users can choose from over 20 streaming services and Internet radio stations, and access personal music libraries, through the BluOS app. There are also coaxial and optical digital inputs.

The 40 CD CD player incorporates proprietary ‘servo evolution,’ said to create an almost silent noise floor. The power supply of the 40 CD employs nine individual stage regulators to manage power distribution within the player, ensuring that each circuit receives the power it needs for pristine playback.

The 40 PSU completes the quartet. It incorporates an on-board microprocessor, able to communicate directly with other 40 Series components.

The Cyrus 40 Series is available with the following suggested retail prices: 40 AMP: £3,995 UK (€4,795 Euro / $4,995); 40 CD: £2,995 UK (€3,595 Euro / $3,995); 40 ST: £2,995 UK (€3,595 Euro / $3,995); 40 PSU £2,495 UK (€2,995 Euro / $3,495).
