The StormAudio ISP Elite MK3 Preamp processor is the latest high-end home theater offering from the French AV manufacturer. Compatible with Dolby and DCI standards, as well as multiple DSP and amplifier platforms, the model is fully customisable and upgradeable, and comes with some useful new features
The preamp processor runs the brand’s latest firmware 4.3r0 upgrade, which includes new multiroom modes and an HDMI Matrix function. This allows for a variety of ways to use the unit’s second HDMI output port, co-developed with Cypress Technologies.
There are two new selectable multiroom modes, Zone2 AV and Pass Through, offering integrators the possibility of linking the second HDMI output to a defined Audio Video Zone, and the ability to connect the second HDMI output to another processor or TV set.
Auto Lipsync will allow the system to automatically adjust the Audio Video delay to ensure perfect lipsync at all times.
The ISP Elite MK3 will decode and upmix Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro and Auro-3D as standard, and is fully IMAX Enhanced certificated.
“With the component shortages we have been experiencing, being able to release this update to our flagship processor is a huge success, and I’d like to thank our team and our key suppliers for the great job they are doing to navigate through this difficult period” said Olivier Thumerel, CEO of StormAudio.
