Sony has confirmed that the eagerly awaited 65-inch iteration of the BRAVIA XR X95J 4 will shortly join the 75- and 85- models in retail channels.
Sony’s current flagship BRAVIA XR 4K HDR Full Array TV, and a winner of the CES 2021 Innovation Award, the X95J features a Cognitive Processor XR processor. This employs a completely new processing method going beyond conventional AI, designed to replicate the ways humans see and hear.
Cognitive Processor XR divides the screen into numerous zones and detects where the ‘focal point’ is in the picture. Unlike conventional Artificial Intelligence Cognitive Processor XR can cross-analyse an array of elements at once, adjusting each in synchronization.
Cognitive Processor XR can also analyse sound position in the signal so the sound matches precisely with what’s on the screen. It also upconverts any sound to 3D surround sound.
Significantly, all X95J TVs boast HDMI 2.1 features, including 4K 120fps, VRR and ALLM. The 65-inch X95J will retail for £2,199.
