Sony Pro is hitting the road. The display giant has announced that two mobile demonstration units are set to tour over 60 locations in 17 countries across Europe this spring, displaying an assortment of technologies from its Professional Displays and Solutions business. The tour will run for 10 weeks from March 27 to June 2.

The two units will include demonstrations across the growing BRAVIA 4k Professional display range. The Sony workplace management solution TEOS will be used to control the installed devices and allow management of them remotely throughout the roadshow. The displays will showcase Bravia supervisor as shown at ISE, wayfinding, corporate, education and digital signage solutions. Visitors will also be able to see a live demonstration of the new SRG-A40 pan-tilt-zoom camera with AI auto-tracking.

One reason cited for the initiative is to reduce the amount of equipment and people required to set up small events and 1:1 demonstrations across Europe. The tour also allows country specific channel events. Both vehicles are equipped with mounts donated by Peerless and a Rally Bar by Logitech.

“We’re delighted to be bringing hands-on professional demonstrations right into the heart of our channel partners premises, giving all those within their businesses the opportunity to see and experience the technologies firsthand, as well as a sneak peek into the future of Sony Professional Displays & Solutions products,” said Rik Willemse, Head of Sales, Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe.

“We hope that combined with the other local events we are hosting as part of the tour, it will allow us to connect and engage as many of our partners and their end users as possible. Demonstrating that Sony is prepared to go the extra mile to meet the needs of its customers.”.

Integrators can register their interest in the tour here.
