Snap One has officially launched an expanded family of Episode Home Theater speakers, hailed as the best yet from the brand. The two tier line-up, optimised for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro 3D, comprises in-room and on-wall models, as well as in-wall and in-ceiling options.
The expanded family introduces two performance levels: Episode Home Theater and Episode Home Theater Reference.
According to Alex Zaliauskas, Director of Product Management for speakers at Snap One, “We’ve dedicated countless hours to meticulously curating the finest drivers and components for this line of speakers, setting a new standard of sound reproduction and raising the bar for the Episode brand.”
The Episode Home Theater Series comprises six models, and includes a tower speaker, in-room monitor, in-room L/C/R speaker, on-wall height speakers, and on-wall LCR speaker.
Key features include rigid MDF cabinets to limit vibration, carbon fibre woofers, low-distortion 1-inch aluminium dome tweeters, second-order Linkwitz-Riley filters, and acoustically-transparent local magnetic grilles. Colour options of gloss black, gloss white, and walnut veneer cater to diverse room aesthetics.
The series employs a common set of materials and components to ensure consistent performance when mixed and matched, even with products from different Episode product lines.
The top of the line Episode Home Theater Reference Series boast an exclusive Coherent Source Module, with upgraded crossovers, and in-ceiling options.
"The Episode Home Theater Reference line represents the ultimate expression of Episode’s design philosophy, marrying acoustic design with captivating visual designs and flexible, intentional installation options," says Zaliauskas.
This series includes an in-room tower speaker, L/C/R speaker, along with an in-ceiling LCR speaker, in-wall surround speaker, medium in-wall LCR speaker, and large in-wall LCR speaker.
Key features include 1-inch aluminium dome tweeters, aluminium dome midrange or wide band transducers, and carbon fibre woofers.
