Sky has announced that it is bundling Discovery+ into its subscription offerings at no extra cost. Sky Q, Sky Glass and Sky Stream customers can now sign up for discovery+, as part of their monthly Sky TV subscription, potentially saving £6.99/€6.99 a month.

The move builds on an introductory offer that enabled Sky TV customers to sample service for 12 months as part of their ongoing Sky TV package. Those customers will be automatically upgraded.

If you subscribe to the Sky Ultimate TV pack, you’ll get the streaming service along with Netflix Basic, Peacock and over 150 channels and on-demand Sky content.

Discovery+ features a variety of documentaries, reality shows and originals covering true crime, paranormal and food.

This includes real-life courtroom drama in Vardy vs Rooney: The Wagatha Trial, dating game Written in the Stars, 90 Day Fiancé and Beauty and the Geek.

The service is also ramping up its live sports coverage. Upcoming live events include the 2023 Australian Open and Roland-Garros tennis, more than 300 days of cycling - including the Tour de France and Olympic Games Paris 2024.

The discovery+ app can be found on the Apps rail on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q. Alternatively say ‘Get discovery plus’ to your Sky Glass or into your Sky Q/Sky Stream voice remote.
