The Bremen SL1 Plus wireless music player from Silent Angel is now available in the UK, via specialist distributor Sound Design Distribution. Aimed squarely at music enthusiasts, the SL1 Plus is a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streamer that offers embedded MQA audio decoding, Qobuz, Tidal Connect, Spotify Connect, DLNA, and Airplay2, as well as Internet Radio.

Hi-res compatible up to 192Khz/24-bits, it’s also equipped with XLR balanced, RCA (single-ended), coaxial, optical, and USB audio outputs. Control comes from the VitOS Orbiter app.

The SL1 Plus boasts a low-power, hi-fi-grade board including a six-core CPU and the VitOS operating system. A thick copper layer on the core board and SSD section handle heat dissipation and long-term stability, while advanced EMI shielding further reduces electromagnetic interference to deliver greater fidelity.

A dedicated DAC board is housed within an aluminium enclosure, separating analogue and digital circuits to minimise power and digital circuit module noise.

The chassis is galvanised steel chassis with a sleek aluminium alloy front panel, while inside is a custom radar-grade switching power supply.

The SL1 Plus retails for £799.
