Sound Design Distribution has signed a deal with Silent Angel to distribute its range of network switches, streamers and transports, power supplies and servers in the UK.
The specialised audio streaming component company is on a mission to improve the everyday experience of music from local or remote servers, through a combination of advanced hardware and software design.
Silent Angel components allow end music lovers to build a digital audio network from the ground up, or enhance existing Hi-Fi systems, perhaps by adding a Roon infrastructure to support high-resolution streaming services and music collections from local or network shared storage.
The range offers a choice of audio network switches (four models, priced between £399-£3199), music servers (two models from £2495 to £4999), music streamer/transports (five models from £895-£995), and linear power supplies (two models priced £445 and £1325).
“At a time when streaming platforms are becoming the most important source of music for many audio fans, Silent Angel has an integrated range of components that helps them to design and enjoy a complete high performance digital music network according to budget,” says SSD’s Andy Baker.
Silent Angel will be on display at the UK Hi Fi Show Live, which takes place at Ascot Racecourse September 29 – October 1.
