UK-Based projection screen specialist Screen Excellence is now supplying integrators with CAD drawings to accompany their screen orders.
The free service will allow the architect or the engineer in charge of the Home Cinema installation to copy and paste the screen into his room design. The installer need only supply image dimensions, external dimensions or the available space in the room.
The CAD drawing can be supplied in DWG or DXF format along with TAM, Absolute and MediaTime screen orders.
Screen Excellence CEO Patrice Congard, said: “The Home Cinema projects tend to become more and more complex, and it often becomes necessary to provide complete CAD drawings that include all the components. Providing ready-made CAD drawings helps the designers and installers to avoid any mistake, whilst saving precious time.”
Headquartered in Suffolk, Screen Excellence has been manufacturing screens since 2008. UK distribution is via Custom AV Distribution, in Marlow (tel: 01628 56 33 44), and Atlantik AV Distribution, based in Wiswell (07771 925722).
