TV mounting specialist Sanus has launched the VLFS820, a super-slim heavy duty full-motion mount for use with large TVs, with an extreme low-profile.

Designed in the US by the Sanus engineering team, this heavy-duty mount is an evolution of the company’s popular six-arm articulating design and is suitable for use with screen sizes from 40- to 90-inches, and supports weights up to 56kg.

The VLFS820 is mounted just over 4cm from the wall, but offers a 50cm extension range and 58-degree swivel capabilities. FluidMotion operation allows swivel, tilt and extension movement, and attaches to any VESA profile.

Once the screen is attached to the arms, the user has finger-tip control over screen tilt from +10 to -10 degrees courtesy of the Sanus VirtualAxis system. After installation, level adjustment is described as a simple process. Screen swivel of up to 58 degrees left and right can be achieved, to provide optimal viewing wherever the user is seated within the room.

The VLFS820 features discreet cable management within the arms; its wall mounting hardware is neatly disguised by a decorative cover which provide a finished look. An open wall plate design enables unhindered access to power, aerial and network connections.

Dean Carroll, international sales director, consumer, said: “The new VLFS820 is the latest in a long line of beautifully engineered mounts developed by Sanus which bring safety and versatility benefits to consumers who are buying ever larger TVs. For our retail and custom installation customers it offers a great opportunity for additional revenue sales, while at the same time providing a safe, secure and stylish solution for their end-user customers.”

Available now, the VLFS820 sells for £250.
