If you can buy it, we can mount it. That’s the message coming from accessory specialist Sanus.

The company has launched the VXL7, a fixed position TV mount for extra-large TVs, up to 140-inches. The move follows a gradual upswing in super large screen availability from the likes of TCL, Hisense and Samsung.

The VXL7 is able to work with TVs from 65- up to a maximum 140-inches in size, thanks to a clever adjustable design that extends width-ways to accommodate all TV models within size parameters.

The extending wall plate, which can span three studs, and the extendable TV brackets provide a secure and safe mounting of screens with VESA patterns from 200 x 200 up to 1100 x 700.

“We’ve seen a huge uptake in very large screens”, says Dean Carroll, Sanus’ international sales director - consumer. “For film lovers, sports fans and gamers, the use of an ultra-large screen delivers an epic viewing experience without the need for a projector-based system. But wall mounting them can be challenging, so the Sanus R&D team have come up with the VXL7, making it much easier to safely install a large size TV.”

In addition to its ability to mount very large TVs, weighing up to 136kg, it does so with the screen just 5cm from the wall. The open frame design of the wall plate is such that it can be mounted on the wall around power, aerial and network sockets.

Once installed, the TV can be adjusted for height and level using ProSet Plus which enables up to 25 mm of adjustment. Lateral adjustment is also possible to perfectly position the screen.

The Sanus VXL7-B2 retails for 129.99 (€149.99).
