Samsung unveils world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV

Samsung has unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB TV. Making its debut at CES 2026, the new mega screen is hailed as the brand’s largest and most advanced display yet. Partnering next-gen Micro RGB colour technology with a gallery-inspired design, the R95H model certainly points to a new design direction for ultra-premium displays.

Samsung describes the gallery-inspired aesthetic as a Timeless Frame; it’s a twist on the brand’s 2013 Timeless Gallery design, albeit with proprietary Glare Free technology, which minimises room reflections. The frame can be flush wall-mounted, or free standing, using a kick stand.

The new model takes advantage of advanced AI picture processing techniques, Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Colour Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro, for a deep, colour rich, immersive image.

Micro RGB Precision Colour 100 delivers 100 per cent of the BT.2020 wide colour gamut, certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for precise Micro RGB colour reproduction.

There’s support for HDR10+ Advanced, and Eclipsa Audio, with multiple speakers integrated into the display’s frame.

On the software front, Samsung’s enhanced Vision AI Companion enables conversational search, proactive recommendations and access to AI features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.

“Micro RGB represents the peak of our picture quality innovation, and the new 130-inch model takes that vision even further,” says Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. “We’re reviving the spirit of our original design philosophy introduced more than a decade ago to deliver an unmistakably premium display, engineered with technology for a new generation.”
