Samsung’s next gen Neo QLED TVs have joined ‘The Wall’ MicroLED displays, ‘The Frame’ 4K lifestyle TVs and ‘The Terrace’ outdoor panel, in Habitech’s CI inventory.
Available for residential and commercial CI projects, the new models use a Mini LED backlight array, for greater contrast and HDR precision, and offer a thinner form factor. The 8k and Q95 4k models utilise a One Connect box, simplifying on-wall installations.
The 2022 models deliver greater brightness than conventional QLED technology, and courtesy of an upgraded Neo Quantum AI processor, offer advanced contrast mapping, with 12 to 14-bit gradation for better control of the Mini LED light source.
The sets also use Shape Adaptive Light technology, which allows the processor to analyse the shape and surfaces of objects, and adjust illumination accordingly, for greater picture accuracy and less backlight blooming.
Good for media room use, Neo QLED screens support 4k gaming at 120Hz, with auto low latency mode and variable refresh rate. A Game Bar interface allows specific control of gaming features.
Integrators can select from the 8k QN900 and QN800 range, in 65-, 75- and 85-inch screen sizes, the QN95 4k range in 85-, 75-, 65-, and 55-inch sizes, and the QN90 4k series in 98-, 75-, 65-, 55-, and 50-inch sizes.
