Rithum has launched the Rithum Home app, giving homeowners full remote control of heating, cooling and hot water across every zone of a Rithum installation.
Available for iOS and Android, the app mirrors the interface of the Rithum Stat on the wall, presenting each controlled zone with its own setpoint and seven‑day schedule.
Home, Away and Holiday modes apply at property level, but their behaviour is defined zone by zone, allowing installers to deliver granular control without adding complexity. Crucially, scheduling continues to run locally on the Switch rather than in the cloud, so heating remains fully operational during an internet outage. The app launches with climate control, with further capabilities planned.
For integrators, Rithum Home answers a long‑standing client expectation: phone control as standard. Until now, meeting that expectation often meant adding a second system alongside the specified solution. Rithum Home avoids that. It presents the same interface clients already use, requires no additional hardware and demands nothing extra from the installer once the system is commissioned. It becomes a natural extension of the Rithum Switch rather than a parallel platform, says the company.
Alongside the app, Rithum has introduced My Rithum, a new handover, backup and restore environment designed to support both installers and end users.
Installers continue to specify and configure projects through the Rithum Project Portal. My Rithum also adds configuration backup and restore, reducing warranty replacements to a simple swap and reapply, and allowing saved setups to be reused as templates for future rooms.
The platform is free for all Rithum owners, covering device status, remote restart and firmware updates. A subscription adds cloud‑dependent features including backup, remote configuration changes, extended warranty and upgrade credit.
Rithum Home is available now on the App Store and Google Play. My Rithum is live at my.rithumhome.com.
