CEDIA's UK Tech + Business Summit roadshow is set to conclude with its largest event of the year, taking place at London's Business Design Centre on July 7. More than 40 manufacturers and distributors are expected to exhibit, giving attendees an opportunity to network with key industry players and explore the latest developments across the smart home and residential technology sectors.
A central feature of the event will be a panel discussion examining collaboration on home integration projects. Entitled Collaboration to Build Success: Aligning Design, Space, and Technology on Home Integration Projects, the session brings together representatives from integration, interior design and architecture to discuss how earlier engagement between disciplines can improve project outcomes, streamline communication and help balance aesthetics with technology requirements.
“At the heart of CEDIA is community,” comments Matt Nimmons, Managing Director of CEDIA EMEA. “We embrace the opportunity to get together and share insights and experiences and discuss industry opportunities. The London Tech + Business Summit comes at a time when collaboration across the smart home sector has never been more important. As projects become more complex and client expectations continue to rise, bringing integrators, manufacturers, distributors, designers and other professionals together in one place creates real value.”
The summit will also host a CPD session on integrated lighting design, presented by Flux London and accredited by both RIBA and BIID. The session will explore how lighting can influence the character and functionality of residential spaces while simplifying control through integrated systems. Alongside the educational programme, visitors will be able to meet a broad range of suppliers spanning audio, control, networking, display and architectural technologies, reinforcing the event's role as a meeting point for the wider smart home industry.
Brands confirmed for the event include ADI, Aldous Systems, Alltrade, Amina, Anatech, AWE, Bang & Olufsen, Basalte, Blake UK, BluStream, Crestron, DALI, Epson, Faradite, Flexon, Future Automation, Gallo Acoustics, GUDE, HEA Distribution, Into AV Distribution, Janus Technology, JVC, KEF, Kordz, Lithe Audio, Lutron, Monitor Audio, NICE, Niko, One AV, QMotion, RGB, Savant, Silent Gliss, Sonos, Sony, Steinway Lyngdorf, The Bradley Collection, TDI, Together for Cinema, Wandsworth Group, Webro, Zennio and Zyxel Networks.
