Window treatment specialist QMotion UK will be showcasing its latest hardware and control solutions at ISE 2023, to support integrators in the fast growing automated blind business.

Making their debut will be QMotion’s Motorised Drapery Rods. Battery powered, these can be integrated with third-party control platforms such as Control4 and Crestron; the motors are hidden away within the rod itself.

The brand will also be showing how the QMotion QiS Cat 6 wired Roller Systems can be integrated into KNX, via RS485, or partnered with Rako when specifying and installing lighting and wireless blind control on a project.

Ease of integration is a key attraction of the QMotion range. The recently launched Crestron Home driver from Ultamation can be configured within minutes to give users control of blinds, curtains and groups through mobile devices and Crestron touch panel control. Loxone has also introduced a wireless driver for ZigBee controlled QMotion products.

Other products integrators should look out for include QMotion’s hybrid-powered Wireless Roller Blind Systems. These automated treatments boast a 1-4 year battery life, and are available in sizes up to 3800mm wide x 4500mm drop.

Also on the ISE booth will be QBasic+, its affordable Roller Blind solution. This allows integrators to create a fully automated blind without the need, or additional cost, of changing fabric or fixing brackets. They can simply begin by fitting manual blinds, then return when budget allows to upgrade and install QMotion battery powered motors into the existing QBasic+ system.

QMotion will also be showing its new blind concealment solution. High quality extruded aluminium boxes can conceal an automated QMotion blind to ensure only the fabric is visible when the blind is fully lowered. With 15 finishes to choose from, QMotion’s new Designer Series of Decorative Brackets and Endcaps can help match the design aesthetic of an installation and will be on display at ISE 2023.

Visitors can also get hands-on with the Legrand Netatmo app, which is capable of connecting a range of Intelligent Legrand Arteor sockets and switches. The app enables the homeowner to control their shading, heating and security technology within the home from their smartphone or iPad.

Integrated Systems Europe runs January 31 - February 3, at Fira Barcelona.
