The new Bluetooth Powernode Edge streaming amplifier and KLH Model Three bookshelf speaker, will make their UK exhibition debut this weekend, courtesy of the American Audio Company. The pair will be on demo at the UK Audio Show 2022.
The £599 Powernode Edge is a single-zone, wireless music streaming amplifier that needs only to be coupled to passive speakers to form a high-res music system (there’s an optional Pulse Sub+, if required), but can also be partnered with a turntable for analogue Hi-Fi.
Rated at 2 x 40W, the unit handles 24-bit/192kHz and supports MQA playback.
An included multi-orientation wall bracket allows it to be hidden out of sight if required. The Edge has a 1U rack height and half-rack width, and can integrate with Crestron, Control4, URC, RTI, ELAN, and others. It also supports Apple’s Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The KLH Model Three speaker is a 2-way design, with an 8-inch woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter. Built quality is said to be solid, with a black, powder-coated steel riser base.
Both models will be on live demo throughout the weekend. The UK Audio Show runs October 8-9, at the De Vere Staverton estate, Northamptonshire.
