The Audio Business has announced it is bringing Polish Hi-Fi outfit Unitra to the UK and Ireland, marking the brand’s first official foray into the market. The Audio Business was appointed as exclusive distributor, with sales and support for the full Unitra range commencing immediately.
The partnership introduces a new line of high-performance HiFi components, combining vintage design sensibilities with modern audio engineering. The distribution agreement includes product sales, network support, and a broad marketing and PR campaign ahead of Unitra’s UK availability in July 2025.
Unitra’s legacy dates back to 1961, when it began producing audio and video equipment for the Polish market. Today, the brand remains headquartered in Warsaw and continues to manufacture its products in Poland, retaining full control over design and build.
According to the company, its mission is to recapture the emotional connection of HiFi’s golden age. Its designs feature tactile controls and unique functional flourishes - like remote-operated mechanical switches on the front fascia - that recall classic HiFi aesthetics, paired with cutting-edge circuitry and audio components.
“Unitra products are beautifully built, sonically honest, and engineered to last,” says Alan Porter, Partner at The Audio Business. “From the moment we encountered them, we knew they embodied everything we look for -performance, craftsmanship and passion.”
