POLAR announces London launch event for AISpeech conferencing technology

POLAR will formally introduce AISpeech to the UK and Irish professional AV market at the Frezza Showroom in central London on October 14.

POLAR was recently appointed exclusive UK and Ireland distributor for the Chinese manufacturer of conversational AI technology. The event is aimed at system integrators and end users, giving them an opportunity to see the technology in operation and meet the AISpeech team.
AISpeech develops AI-powered audio and video technology for professional meeting and conference environments across corporate and education markets. Its portfolio includes conference speakerphones, 360-degree noise-cancelling microphones, ceiling microphone arrays, 4K conferencing cameras, voice-tracking cameras and intelligent audio-visual tracking systems. The company’s technology is designed to improve speech intelligibility, video quality and speaker tracking in hybrid meetings and presentations.

The London launch will be delivered through two identical one-hour sessions, running from 11am to noon and 3pm to 4pm. AISpeech Director of Overseas Business Dr Ping Zou will present following an introduction from POLAR representatives. Attendees will see a live video link with AISpeech headquarters, alongside a remote demonstration of a working system installed at POLAR’s base. The demonstrations will focus on AISpeech’s AI Noise Reduction and Reverberation Cancellation technologies. The morning session will be followed by lunch, while the afternoon session will conclude with a drinks reception.

For integrators, the launch provides an opportunity to assess AISpeech’s approach to some of the common audio challenges associated with conferencing spaces. Its product range combines microphone array technology with AI-based processing and video tracking. POLAR says it sees opportunities across corporate, education and government projects, with the distributor’s technical and sales teams supporting the brand’s entry into the UK and Ireland.

POLAR Head of Integrated Solutions Will Turney says the AISpeech portfolio addresses a gap in the UK conferencing market, highlighting its ceiling microphone arrays, intelligent noise reduction and video conferencing hardware. He adds that POLAR has evaluated the range and believes it can compete with established manufacturers on performance while giving integrators another option for conferencing projects.

Dr Ping Zou says the launch has particular significance for AISpeech because of the company’s historical connection with the UK. The business was founded in Cambridge in 2007 before moving its operations to Suzhou, China, in 2008. Zou says the partnership with POLAR will support AISpeech’s return to the UK market and its wider international expansion. The launch event will mark the start of the companies’ work together to support UK integrators and end-user projects.
