Panasonic has unveiled its new JX600 entry level LED 4k series, scheduled to land in stores at the end of October. The new JX600 series is available in two screen sizes, 50-and 43-inches, and comes in Dark Titanium and Silver finishes.
The JX600 uses a stripped-back smart platform, but will work with Google and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. It also offers a variety of streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and Twitch. Early release information does not indicate if the set has a Freeview Play tuner.
Attractions include a low input lag Game Mode, and Dolby Atmos audio passthrough. The onboard sound system is 2x 10W stereo. HDR handling covers Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. There’s also a Brightness Enhancer to give a faux HDR lift to SDR content.
Connectivity includes three HDMIs (limited to 4k 60/50p), one with ARC; a trio of USB inputs, and a digital optical audio output.
The TX-43JX600B and TX-50JX600B will sell for £450 and £550, respectively.
