Snap One will expand its security solutions in January 2023 with the Luma x20 family of AI enhanced surveillance products, which for the first time support maintenance through OvrC integration.

OvrC is a cloud-based remote systems monitoring and management solution that provides 24/7 system data to integrators.

The Luma View mobile app can be used for system control and live monitoring. There’s also automatic video stream configuration in Control4, with enhanced camera views.

Human and vehicle detection triggers instant push notifications through the Luma View app and connected control systems.
Integrators can also expect to see a new suite of surveillance features, including live thumbnails and a new single-camera view with custom buttons and settings in Control4.

Partners can offer commercial customers and large homes full video coverage with a new NVR that holds up to 14 terabytes of storage and accepts up to 64 channel inputs, says Snap One. Thanks to OvrC, the x20 line can be managed through a single interface.

The x20 family will replace the x10 line. Luma x20 cameras are up to 30 per cent more compact than previous models.

“Camera and AI detection technologies evolve quickly” said Forest Liu, Senior Director of Product Management for Surveillance at Snap One. “The x20 family is the first Luma product line to include full OvrC integration, simplifying processes and client calls for Partners that can reduce maintenance costs and provide better assurance of 24/7 operation.

"OvrC also allows for faster setup and can save up to 50 per cent of configuration time. New features including AI-powered human and vehicle detection, easy video sharing, synchronised multi-channel event playback, smooth integration with control systems and expanded colour-at-night cameras make Luma an even more attractive option for all Partners and all types of homes and small businesses.”
