Projection specialist Optoma has re-branded its ProDesign technical consultancy services. First launched in 2017, the service is seen as a major differentiator between Optoma and other manufacturers - “we’ve seen the success it’s brought our AV installers time and time again,” says Ross Noonan, Optoma’s technical product specialist.
“By providing free training, attending client meetings and providing support and advice when and where it is needed, we remain assured that clients are well versed in selecting, installing and servicing Optoma solutions.”
The consultancy service consists of a three-step process: consultation, design and support. This includes an initial engagement to learn about the challenge at hand, a site survey to take measurements and look at any limitations to provide solutions, and content resolution options, with technical drawings for replicating the environment in 3D CAD software. Finally, there's on-site support with online and in-person training.
