The ZU1100 is the latest addition to Optoma’s DuraCore laser projector line-up. It boasts advanced features such as built-in edge-blending and warping, as well as independent IP-rated dust certification.
The laser light source has a lifespace of 30,000 hours, and offers installers seven interchangeable lens options, including an ultra short throw lens and single-projector dome lens.
For large-scale projection installations, the ZU1100 features built-in edge-blending and warping, with portrait and 360-degree orientation options. To aid installation, there’s full horizontal and vertical lens shift.
An HDBaseT input is included to simplify cabling requirements and reduce installation complexity. HDBaseT can deliver uncompressed Full HD video, audio, network and control commands via a single CAT- type cable up to 100 metres.
The ZU1100 features (MCL) technology, which adds a second red laser to the common blue laser, for improved colour performance.
Under the hood there’s an airtight optical engine, tested and certified to IEC standard 60529 with an IP6X dust resistance rating. Such dust resistance supports its claim to 24/7 maintenance free operation, whatever the environment.
An integrated warping and edge blending processor allows multiple ZU1100s to be warped and blended without any additional hardware. Warping and edge blending can be configured on the projectors directly, or with PC software.
Control options include support for the AMX Dynamic discovery protocol, for use with AMX control systems; Crestron RoomView compatibility; Extron IPLink support, and RS232.
