TCL has taken the wraps off a new QD-Mini LED 4k TV range, which includes a super large 98-inch model. The C805K line is said to deliver 1300 nits peak brightness, and has support for Dolby Atmos audio and 144Hz VRR.
The model will be available in a wide range of screen sizes, but it’s the extra large screen sizes that will be of particular interest to integrators, for home theatre and media room applications.
The C805K uses the Google TV smart platform, with built-in Google Assistant, but it also works with Alexa and Apple AirPlay2/Homekit. All the major streaming services are onboard, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. Console owners are catered for with a Game Master Pro 2.0 mode.
The launch of this new QD-Mini LED comes hot on the heels of the introduction of the brand’s low cost P638K LED series and QLED C645K ranges.
The C805K range comes in 50-, 55-, 65-, 75-, 85-, and 98-inch screen sizes, priced at £699, £799, £949, £1,349, £1,749 and £3,999 respectively. The TCL C805K series will be available in the coming weeks across a wide range of UK retailers.
