Nanoleaf debuts Sonic the Hedgehog 2 starter kit

Modular lighting specialist Nanoleaf has released a special edition Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie package which allows its flat panel lights to recreate one of the three main characters from the film.

Each pack contains 32 specifically designed panels (four triangle light panels and 28 mini triangles) that can be arranged in the shape of Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. Using the Nanoleaf app, the panels can be made to perfectly match the colours of the popular video game characters - Sonic blue, Knuckles red, or Tails yellow.

The special edition Nanoleaf x Sonic the Hedgehog light panels join a wide variety of Nanoleaf sets, offering geometric panels in all shapes and sizes - hexagons, triangles, and squares. All are interchangeable.

Nanoleaf lighting technology opens the door to a wide variety of lighting design and control, but this cinematic set will find particular favour with gamers. Ideal for media rooms, Nanoleaf’s screen mirror feature allows the Nanoleaf Shapes light panels to reflect on-screen colours in real time, or using a Rhythm feature, to react to music.
