Naim Audio has added Crestron driver support to its range of music-streaming speakers and Hi-Fi systems.
The development comes on top of existing Control 4 driver support, and gives installers more ways to integrate high-performance music streaming hardware into their projects. The new drivers allow installers to seamlessly control connected Naim products from Crestron’s extensive range of touchscreens, remote controls and apps.
The Crestron driver works with all Naim products running the latest-generation music streaming platform: the Mu-so and Mu-so Qb 2nd Generation wireless speakers; Uniti Atom, Uniti Star and Uniti Nova streaming systems, and ND5 XS 2, NDX 2 and ND555 dedicated music streaming players.
The driver supports volume control and source switching through the Crestron interface, allowing installers to customise the user experience any way they like, with full switching control of digital and analogue inputs, including HDMI ARC.
A new Favourites menu for speedy selection of a wide variety of used content, including internet radio stations and Tidal and Qobuz playlists. The features list also includes a search feature and enhanced browsing with access to both personal music collections from a Naim Uniti Core hard-disk music server or UPnP server, and recommended content on Tidal and Qobuz.
