Moon has announced an updated version of its 250i integrated stereo amplifier. The 250i v2 adds an MM phono preamplifier and introduces upgraded circuit design featuring ‘next generation’ semiconductors said to provide an improvement in sound quality.
For the first time, turntables can now be connected directly to the 250i, increasing the amp’s appeal to the growing number of vinyl aficionados. Additional connectivity includes six analogue inputs, including stereo access from the front panel. There’s also a front facing ¼-ich headphone jack.
Cosmetically and operationally, it has the same chassis as the original 250i, with ease of use and tactile control a kay user appeal.
Designed and manufactured in Canada, the Moon 250i is available in either black or two-tone black/silver finish. It comes with a 10 year warranty.
Distribution is via Renaissance Audio.
