Hi-Fi and AV distributor Renaissance has taken the wraps off the Moon 371 network amplifier, an all-in-one audio solution that integrates amplifier, preamplifier, DAC, network player and phono stage functionality into a single enclosure. It’s the first product in Moon's new Compass Collection, marking a significant expansion of the brand’s portfolio.
At its core is Moon’s MiND 2 streaming platform, providing direct access to Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and Spotify, with support for AirPlay, Roon, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect. A built-in phono stage, compatible with both MM and MC cartridges, draws on Moon’s established phono stage expertise to deliver accurate analogue playback.
The unit also offers an HDMI connection.
The amplifier incorporates technologies trickled down from the company’s flagship North Collection, specifically the proprietary MHP (Moon Hybrid Power) supply and MDCA (Moon Distortion Cancelling Amplifier) architecture, engineered to reduce distortion and improve linearity.
A 17cm colour screen displays track details, settings and album artwork.
Build quality remains a key focus, with the amplifier hand-assembled in Canada and covered by Moon’s 10-year warranty. It ships with a dedicated CRM-4 aluminium remote, designed for the Compass Collection.
Technical specifications include 100W output at 8 ohms, rising to 200W at 4 ohms, with a frequency response of 5Hz–100kHz (+0/-3dB). The unit measures 42.9 x 8.7 x 38.5 cm and weighs 9kg.
“With a decade of experience in building award-winning all-in-one systems, it is now time to redefine the category," said Renaissance Managing Director, John Carroll. “The 371 will excite anyone looking for a complete audio solution that offers versatility and delivers the renowned MOON sound. When you compare features, styling, ease of use, and build quality, I believe that, through elevated sonic performance, the 371 is the best network amplifier available in its category.”
The Moon 371 Network Amplifier will be available from mid-October at £6,250.
