Monitor Audio is expanding its architectural loudspeaker Creator Series with the C2L-A, a new angled in-ceiling model designed for precise high-frequency steering.
The Creator Series takes a structured approach to performance across media rooms and dedicated cinema spaces. The incoming C2L-A brings an angled in-ceiling solution to its Tier 2 level, previously only available on the higher-end Tier 3 range.
Characteristics include a cleaner, more articulate low and mid-frequency presentation, with tighter bass behaviour and improved dynamic integrity.
Features include a 9-inch C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) bass-mid driver, using RST II metal cone geometry, paired with a 1.25-inch C-CAM gold dome tweeter, mounted within a newly designed bridge and fixed at a precise 25-degree angle.
This makes it particularly suitable for Atmos height duties or distributed multi-channel audio zones, where listener positions are often limited. High-frequency adjustment and boundary compensation allows installers to compensate for off-axis seating, awkward joist positions or ceiling placements close to walls.
The speaker incorporates Monitor Audio’s patent-pending Quik-Link speaker cable connector, designed to streamline termination and reduce time on site, and revised Tri-Grip II dog-leg fixing system, intended to provide a more secure and dependable ceiling fit.
The C2L-A has a 248mm cut-out diameter, with almost flush magnetic grilles, available in black or white. There’s an optional square format, if interor designers require it.
The Creator Series C2L-A is priced at £550 per speaker in the UK, and will be available September 2026.
